The Office for Disability Issues aims to coordinate the way government services are developed and delivered for disabled people.
The Office for Disability Issues (ODI) works with disabled people and disability groups and organisations to move towards full equality for disabled people.
All government departments are, or will be, involved with the ODI. This includes departments responsible for health, employment, education, transport and trade and industry.

Equality 2025 is a group of 23 disabled people that advises government on how to meet the government's vision of equality for disabled people by 2025. One of its aims is to work with policymakers across government at an early stage of policy development and service delivery so that disabled people's needs are met.
Equality 2025 was launched in December 2006. Its work plan for 2008-2009 was announced in June 2008. You can find out more about Equality 2025, including who its members, on the Office for Disability Issues website.
