You can apply online using The Planning Portal, a website from the Department for Communities and Local Government, which provides information on:
- demolition and large scale improvements to a property
- what improvements need planning permission
- details of the application process
- costs involved
How to apply
To apply follow the link below. You'll need to register with the site to submit and access details of an application.
Not all councils accept applications through the Planning Portal but some councils allow you to print off a completed application for you to post. Full details are given on the site.
