Register to become an organ donor

Register online to donate life saving organs to those on transplant waiting lists.

Overview

The NHS Organ Donor Register is a national, confidential list of people who want to help others after their own death by donating organs for transplant.

Putting your name on the register means authorised medical staff will be aware of your wishes in the event of your death - but it is also important to discuss your wishes with your family.

How to use this service

Register on the NHS Organ Donor Register website by completing personal details including your name, address and age and which organs you wish to donate in the event of your death.

You can also find out more information from the site if you are still deciding if you want to become a donor.
