The Met Office website provides detailed weather forecasts for the UK and provides a text message alert service for those who want forecasts sent to their mobile phone.
How to use this service
To receive a weather forecast via mobile phone you will need to send a text message to the number provided on the Met Office website. A few minutes later you will receive a reply message containing the forecast.
Details of the information your message should contain and service costs are included on the website.
