If you are the parent, spouse or partner of a student, you can support a 2008/2009 application for student finance online. You may need to provide information about your income.
If the student you are supporting completes an online application, you will be sent a letter detailing how you can provide your information online.
If you wish to provide financial information in support of an application for the first time, you will need to register as a new online user.

It's no longer possible to apply online for the 2007/2008 academic year - but students can still apply on paper up to nine months from the start of the academic year. You can support a student's application by completing the relevant parts of the form.
Online applications for student finance are handled by Student Finance Direct.
Student Finance Direct is a service delivery partnership between the Student Loans Company, local authorities and the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills.
