Apply now for 2009/10 - or if you're a new student starting in 2010/11
Whether you're just starting a course or in your second or subsequent year of study, you can apply for student loans, grants, and some bursaries online.
You can currently apply for the 2009/10 academic year - or for 2010/11, if you're a new student.
For students continuing their studies in 2010/11, applications will open in early 2010.
If you are the parent or partner of a student, you can supply your financial details in support of their application for finance online.
Login to your student finance account online to find out when you'll get your payments, or view copies of letters that have been sent to you by Student Finance England or Student Finance Direct.
You can also update your student finance account details (for example, your email address, term-time and home address and bank details) online.
If you need to access your student finance account but have forgotten your login ID or password, you can request a reminder online. Your login details will be sent to you immediately by email.
If you're a new student starting a course in 2009/10, you can use the Student Loan Repayment Calculator to estimate how much your repayments will be.
