Disability benefits - British Sign Language and subtitled films
From this page you can download information about four disability benefits. The short films are presented in British Sign Language and are subtitled. The information is also available on DVD, which you can request to be delivered to you.
Viewing the films
The films are available in two formats:
- Windows Media video - the WMV files
- Real Player video - the RAM files
Because the films contain subtitles, Directgov cannot provide a video size that is suitable for dial-up modem users - however, a DVD can be ordered.
Click on the file you wish to view and you can either play it 'live' or save it onto your computer to view later. If you want to download the file you should click on the link using the button on the right hand side of your mouse. You should then see a list of options including 'Save Target As... " or 'Save Link As...'. If you select this option you should be able to save the video to your computer.

Ordering a DVD version
The DVD contains all four benefits detailed above - it is free of charge. Please make sure that you give full details of your postal address. The DVD should arrive within five working days.
