If you get a Dance and Drama Award, this will cover most of your tuition fees, but you'll still have to make a personal contribution.
If you get a Dance and Drama Award, this will cover the majority of your tuition fees. However, you will need to make a personal contribution to your fees.
For the 2008/2009 academic year, this personal contribution is £1,250.
On top of the Dance and Drama award, which is given regardless of your household income, you may also be able to get additional help with your costs, depending on where you live.
If you come from England, Scotland or Wales, you may be able to get additional money over and above the Dance and Drama Award to help with your living and childcare costs.
How much extra you get will depend on your family's annual household income.
If your family's income is above £33,000, you will not be entitled to any extra help.
The table below shows how much extra help you can get towards your fees and living costs.

For help with fees and maintenance, students from Northern Ireland should contact the student financial section at the Western Education and Library Board - see contact information below, or email student.awards@welbni.org.
Students from EU countries should apply to their home countries for help with maintenance.
If you are from a country outside the EU, you will not be eligible for a Dance and Drama Award. If you do apply to a private dance or drama school, you will have to pay all the tuition fees yourself.
To apply for an award, you need to contact one of the 21 private dance and drama training schools.
This information is also available in a booklet that you can download in PDF format.
