Get some advice

nextstep is a free, face-to-face service, offering advice on learning and careers. Personal advisers in your local office are ready to help you decide what support and advice will suit you best.

Talk with a personal adviser

Whether you want to change jobs or learn something new and broaden your skills, you can talk in confidence to your own nextstep adviser, and plan your next move.

Your adviser will have access to information and opportunities which can help you either get into work, perform better in your job, or get more satisfaction from your career.

Who can use nextstep services?

The face-to-face services are available to anyone aged 20 or more who doesn’t yet have a Level 2 qualification - that’s five GCSEs at grades A* to C, or an NVQ Level 2.

Make an appointment with a nextstep adviser to discuss qualifications, or use the link below to find out more about the different levels.

How to make an appointment

Use the nextstep office finder to get the address and contact details for your local office. You can then make an appointment to meet your personal adviser and start to make the changes you want.
