If you are a student from another European Union (EU) country studying in England, Northern Ireland or Wales, you apply for financial help towards your fees by sending an application form to the EU Customer Services Team.

If you study in Scotland, applications for student finance are dealt with by the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).
New full-time students who apply for their course through UCAS by July will be sent an application form for student finance automatically.

You will need to complete an application form for every year of your course.
If you have applied for student finance before, you should also automatically be sent an application form. This will be sent to your home address in your EU country of origin, not your UK address while you study. You can also download forms below.
If you haven’t applied for student finance before, you will need to fill in the form for new full-time students.
If you are a full-time student whose course started before September 2006, and you are applying for a tuition fee grant, you will also need to submit proof of income.

Once you've completed the form, post it to the EU Customer Services Team at Darlington.
You also need to post any relevant documents (the guidance notes will tell you what you need to send). If you don't send in the documents you are asked to, this could delay your application.
The EU Customer Services Team will post your documents back to you at the address in your EU country of origin.

If you change, suspend or leave your course, the EU Customer Services Team will need confirmation from your university or college.
