There are a number of vehicles that can't be used for a practical driving test for safety reasons. These vehicles have either been recalled, or a safety notice issued, because a fault has been identified which needs to be corrected by the manufacturer or a dealer.
You’ll need to check that a recall or safety notice does not affect the vehicle you plan to use at the practical test.
In the interests of safety of the driver and the driving test examiner, affected vehicles can’t be used at a practical test unless you can provide documentary evidence to show that:
