Advice issued for parents on teacher strike

  • Published: Friday, 18 April 2008

The National Union of Teachers is planning strike action on Thursday 24 April. Parents of primary and secondary school children should be aware that some schools may close or partially close.

As a result of the Easter holidays, some schools may not have been able to tell parents of the expected impact the strike action will have. Any parents in doubt about the effect of the action on their child's school should get in touch with the school as soon as possible.
