On UK Older People’s Day findings for Full of Life show older generations have the knowledge
- Published: Wednesday, 1 October 2008
New research shows that a rich variety of knowledge is being passed from one generation to another through families.
The findings include:
- 73 per cent of people say this knowledge is more likely to be held by their grandparents’ generation rather than their own
- over two thirds of people are keen to get their hands on this knowhow
It seems that the best way to ensure this knowledge is kept alive is by old and young people sharing their time and knowhow.
