10:10 is the citizen-led campaign to cut the UK's carbon emissions by ten per cent in 2010. Sign up to do your bit - if you keep this particular new year's resolution, you'll also find that you save money.
This coming year, 10:10 is asking individuals, schools, hospitals and workplaces to cut the UK's carbon emissions by ten per cent.
More than 51,000 individuals and several thousand businesses and organisations have already signed up. These include:

Some ways you can reduce your carbon emissions:
Homeowners and landlords can get capital grants towards the cost of insulation or fitting solar tiles. Contact your energy supplier for details, or call the 'Act on CO2' advice line on 0800 512 012.
In 2010, watch out for “Pay As You Save” (PAYS) - a new way to pay for whole-house energy retrofits.
The 'Act on CO2' website has many more energy saving tips and can help you work out your carbon footprint. Knowing how much carbon you use will help you see where you can cut back in 2010.
