'Vulnerable workers' helpline goes on the road

A mobile street cafe is touring the country to promote a new helpline for vulnerable workers. The national roadshow will give people the chance to sit and discuss their working rights and find out more about the Pay and Work Rights Helpline.

The national roadshow will give people an opportunity to sit and discuss their working rights with trained advisers.

Workers will be able to seek advice on:

  • National Minimum Wage
  • Agricultural Minimum Wage
  • working time
  • employment agency standards
  • gangmaster licensing

The cafe will appear in each town from around 10 am to 5 pm.
