  • Published: Thursday, 5 November 2009

Postal services may still be disrupted because of the mail strikes. Find out how to make sure you are not affected by any future postal strikes.

What can you do so you are not affected in the future?

Strike action by postal workers is always likely to disrupt the delivery of cheques to customers.

You can make sure you are not affected by any future strike by postal workers by having your benefit, pension or allowance paid into a:

  • bank account
  • building society account
  • Post Office card account
