The volcano Grimsvötn has paused its eruptions and Met Office modelling indicates that significant disruption between now and the end of the weekend is unlikely.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is actively monitoring the situation and is in close touch with the Met Office, Department for Transport, airlines and airports and NATS (UK air traffic control services).
