Parent View - tell Ofsted how your child's school is doing

  • Published: Thursday, 20 October 2011

There is a new easy way for you to tell Ofsted how you think your child's school is performing. Ofsted has launched Parent View, a 12-question online survey that lets you give your views on your child's school at any time.

What Parent View covers

Rate your child's school

How you think your child's school is doing?

Parent View has been produced with the help of a panel of parents who helped shape the site and the topics covered.

Among other topics, the online questionnaire asks parents for their views on the following at their child's school:

  • quality of teaching
  • bullying
  • behaviour
  • levels of homework

The survey also asks them whether or not they'd recommend the school to other parents.

Parent View covers over 22,000 schools across England.

To take part, follow the link below to the Parent View site and complete the 12-question survey. The site will invite you to register or log in to use the service.

You can view the results online to help you make important choices about your child's education. Parent View will also provide Ofsted with crucial information about schools.
