Live traffic information in London

The Transport for London (TfL) website shows information about roadworks, current congestion and events, as well as updates on long-term disruption, for today or up to seven days in the future.

You can also see how long planned traffic disruption will last and the times of day work is taking place.

The website also shows the locations of CCTV cameras and images of current traffic conditions.

Major road projects

Find out about planned, current and completed Highways Agency road projects, including what's being done and how long it will take. You can also sign up to receive alerts about the status of particular projects on your mobile phone.

Peak travel times

You may want to allow extra time for popular journeys at peak travel times, such as trips to the coast in August or to the coast or countryside on a bank holiday.

Bear in mind that many public transport providers offer a reduced or Sunday service on bank holidays.
