Tenancy deposit law was introduced on 6th April 2007 to give more protection to tenants by preventing landlords and letting agents from unfairly witholding a tenants deposit.  You can download leaflets and posters for more information.

Landlords and letting agents can order the leaflet ‘ ‘Letting? – Are you protecting your tenant’s deposit?’ which explains what they need to do to comply with the new legislation.
